Right now, I'm sitting in the Portland Hilton Grand Ballroom running audio for a charity dinner prepared by all these famous chefs from around the northwest. I am surrounded by this great looking food and I can't eat any of it. I'm slowly going mad!
It's nice to see everybody pick up on the blog thing. I'm still working on a doctored family picture but I need a lot more, so please send me photos.

Well, did you at least get to help with the leftovers? But, when I hear about an event such as yours, all I can think about are the inspections of each person's exhibit, holding temps of the food, sneeze guards and the like to help all the foodies keep well! What a job, Jason, you always get into the neatest places.
How awful not to get to sample the goodies. Other than your scary incident, do you like the northwest?
Did you at least get a beer out of it?
